On July 23, 2010, the colleagues in the Shanghai and Beijing offices of Yaoliang Law Office traveled to Huangshan Mountain. After the journey for more than six hours, all the colleagues finally met at the foot of Huangshan Mountain. On the morning of the next day, we drove to the Huangshan Mountain scenic zone with great expectation and exciteness.
Huangshan Mountain owns the reputation of “No.1 Mountain under Heaven”. It is one of China’s best-known ten mountains. There is an old saying, “No mountain is worth seeing after a trip to Huangshan Mountain”. We started our climb after reaching Yuping Summit by tramway. Although the way to the peak was tough and the weather changed rapidly, with great team work, we finally conquered the highest Lianhua Peak (1864 meters high), Guangming Peak (1860 meters high), as well as reaching the Beihai beauty spot and Shixin Peak. The evergreen special pines, strange rocks, cloudy sea along our way deeply impressed us.
On the last day of our trip, we visited the World Cultural Heritage, an old village of southern Anhui Province called Hong Village in Qian County. Hong Village is regarded as “the village in Chinese painting”. A large number of great films and TV series such as Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Su Qi’er were taken there. Through feeling the style and feature of Hong Village, we knew more about the profound connotation of the old Anhui culture, which gave an enjoyable end to the trip.
With reluctance to leave, we went back home. Through the three-day activity, the colleagues in the Shanghai and Beijing offices knew more about each other and enhanced the feeling to one another. We believe that all the staff from both offices will cooperate much better in the future.
