The General Office of the Ministry of Justice of PRC will establish the lawyers specially handling foreign-related matters database and receive organize provincial (district, municipal) judicial departments (bureaus) to declare their entry in May in order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, earnestly implement the "Opinions on the Development of Foreign-related Legal Services" established by the Ministry of Justice and other three departments, to cultivate a number of high-quality foreign involved lawyers who are familiar with international rules, have a global vision and international vision, and provide better legal services for China's major development strategies such as "one belt and one road", "going out" for Chinese enterprises and citizens, and for China's major foreign-related economic and trade activities and diplomatic work.
At present, the Ministry of Justice of PRC has issued and publicized a list of candidates to be selected, the publicity period was from August 31 to September 13, 2018 (ten working days). Finally, Mr Stephen Gu and Mrs Mo Na have been selected into the lawyers specially handling foreign-related matters list.
Mr. Stephen Gu, as the managing partner of Yaoliang Law Offices, has been focusing on the matters of cross-border marine engineering and shipbuilding since his practice.
