China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limit (hereinafter called “CSSC”) held a conference subject to “Enhance awareness of risk prevention and strengthen legal protection training” in Shanghai on October 13, 2015. At the invitation of CSSC, Mrs. Chen Ya participated in this training conference as representatives of Yaoliang Law Offices.
In this training, Mrs. Chen Yaointly gave a special lecture on "The Legal Risk and Countermeasure related to Delivery and Termination" for the leaders of the legal departments of the members companies of CSSC, the middle level leaders of the relevant departments and the relevant members in the legal departments who participated in the training. Mrs. Chen Ya ocused on the current downturn in the shipbuilding and offshore market, combined with the Yaoliang Law Offices' long-term practical experience in the construction and trading of the vessel and offshore products, analyzed the legal risk might be faced and the countermeasure could be taken related to the new shipbuilding process, the delivery of the second hands vessel, the termination of the contract by the ship owner and the arbitration process.
