In January 2021, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard successfully delivered the first reefer container vessel 910RFEU for Dole, a world-renowned fruit and vegetable company. 910RFEU is 195 meters in length, 32.2 meters in width, 17 meters in depth, 10.5 meters in design draft, 19.5 knots in service speed, 28,750 tons in design deadweight, classified by DNV, and meets the requirements of unlimited navigation area. The vessel can carry 910 reefer containers of 40 feet, which is an environment friendly ship with large cold container capacity, flexible loading, easy maintenance and meeting Tier III emission. It is reported that the 910 reefer container vessel will be put into service for the transportation of fruits and vegetables on international routes.
